Catherine Mary Lombardi, 89, formerly of 44 Third St., died yesterday at Hillcrest Commons, where she had resided for more than a year.
Born in Pittsfield on Jan. 31, 1912, daughter of Rosario and Rosa Severia Canino Pullano, she attended local schools.
A homemaker, Mrs. Lombardi was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. She enjoyed sewing and gardening.
Her husband, Louis L. Lombardi, whom she married April 7, 1934, died Dec. 13, 1985.
She leaves a son, Louis P. Lombardi of Pittsfield; a daughter, Evelyn T. Jones of Dalton; a brother, Anthony Pullano of San Marcos, Calif.; three grandchildren, a great-grandson, and six great-step-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday, Sept. 14, at 10:15 from DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, celebrated by the Rev. Joseph Fellin, C.S.S. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Church. Calling hours at Dery Funeral Home will be today from 5 to 7. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Association in care of the funeral home.
