PITTSFIELD, Mass. — Steven Roland Gagne, 55, of 110 Lakeway Drive died Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at home.
Born in Pittsfield on Jan. 26, 1957, son of Roland and Jean Crockwell Gagne, he attended Pittsfield schools and graduated from Pittsfield High School with the class of 1975.
He was a Navy veteran.
Mr. Gagne was employed by United Cerebral Palsy of Berkshire County for many years.
He attended First Baptist Church in North Adams and was a member of the Polish Falcons Nest 580 and the Pittsfield Elks Lodge 272. He enjoyed playing pool, fishing, and socializing with his friends.
He leaves his fiancée, Susan Raimer, and her son, Alex; three aunts, Edith DaSacco of North Adams, Joan Delano of Pittsfield, who was his mother's twin, and Dorothy Whitmarsh of Marble, N.C.; an uncle, David Crockwell of Marble, N.C., cousins, and several aunts uncles and cousins from the Gagne side of the family.
FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Mr. Gagne will be Tuesday, July 24, at 11 a.m. from Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery in North Adams.
A calling hour will be held Tuesday morning from 10 to 11 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested for UCP of Berkshire County in care of the funeral home.
