PITTSFIELD, Mass. — JoAnn Lucille Garcia, 65, of 666 North St. died Friday, July 6, 2012, at Sweet Brook Care Centers in Williamstown.
Born in Pittsfield on Jan. 10, 1947, daughter of Charles E. and Josephine Laminski Forgey, she attended Pittsfield schools and graduated from Pittsfield High School.
Ms. Garcia was primarily a homemaker and was devoted to her family. She enjoyed fishing and music.
She leaves a daughter, Adrianne Muzzy of Pittsfield; a son, John Garcia of Cheshire; two sisters, Carolyn Broderick of Pittsfield and Elizabeth Moore of Lanesborough; four grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and her longtime companion, Butch.
Her brother, Edward Forgey, and sister Grace Wager predeceased her.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Services for Ms. Garcia will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice in care of Flynn & Dagnoli-Bencivenga Funeral Home, 5 Elm St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
