LENOX, Mass. — Doris Berger, 87, of Kimball Farms died in her sleep on Tuesday morning, Dec. 23, 2008.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on June 14, 1921, daughter of Max and Lena Kroman Feinstein, she graduated from Brooklyn College in 1942 and received a master's degree in accounting from City College. She moved to the Berkshires in 1972.
Her husband, Joseph Berger, whom she married on Jan. 12, 1947, died June 22, 1989.
The couple enjoyed many happy years in the Berkshires with their children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Berger leaves two daughters, Aline Sosne and her husband, Jeffrey, and Jamie Keller and her husband, Brant, all of Stockbridge, and three grandsons, Zachary Sosne and his wife, Lindsay, Ben Sosne and his wife, Amy, and Ross Keller.
She was predeceased by her sister, Gertrude Langsam of New Haven, Conn.
FUNERAL NOTICE — There will be a private family funeral service on Wednesday and a small family gathering will follow at the Sosne home in Stockbridge.
