Leo C. Wilson Jr.

Pittsfield - Leo C. Wilson Jr., 35, of 3 Lanckton Court, died Saturday at Berkshire Medical Center.

Born in Youngstown, Ohio on Aug. 14, 1972, son of Leo Wilson Sr. and Laura L. Haynes Wilson, he was a 1990 graduate of Chaney High School in Youngstown.

While in Ohio he worked as a auto mechanic.

Mr. Wilson moved to Lenox in 1997 and worked at the F,L. Roberts truck stop in Lee, and later for the Goodyear Tire Co. in Pittsfield until 2006, when he retired due to illness. He had made his home in Pittsfield since last spring.

He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR racing, and the Dallas Cowboys.

He married his wife, the former Jessica M. Roosa, Sept. 11, 1999.

Besides his wife and his parents of Youngstown, Ohio, he leaves a son, Zachary C. Wilson at home; a daughter, Vivian L. Wilson at home; and three brothers, Michael A. Zlenka of Niles, Ohio, Frederick W. Wilson of Austintown, Ohio, and Benjamin Wilson of Cleveland, Ohio.

FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Leo Wilson Jr., who died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at the KELLY FUNERAL HOME in Lee with Waldo Baker of the Lee Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses officiating.

Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery in Lenox. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, friends wishing may make donations to Wilson Children's Educational Fund in care of the Kelly Funeral Home 3 Main St. Lee, MA 01238.

Leo enjoyed spending time with his family and children. He leaves his close uncles Patrick and Robert Connolly and numerious other aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
