Lenox - Susan M. Shweizer Holt, 59, of 15th St., Lubbock, Texas, a former resident of Lenox, died Jan. 3 at Covenant Hospital in Lubbock.
At one time, she owned and operated Salerno's Pizza.
Born in Springfield on Jan. 21, 1948, daughter of Michael and Annette Panto Salerno, she was a 1966 graduate of Longmeadow High School.
Mrs. Holt had worked as a receptionist at Shear Design for several years. She had once been employed as a beautician in Springfield.
While in Lenox, she was a communicant of St. Ann's Church.
She and her husband, David Holt, were married June 2, 2002, in Hampden. Her first husband, Harry G. Schweizer, died Nov. 14, 1999.
Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Harry and Matthew Schweizer, both of Lee; a daughter, Meghan Schweizer of Cranston, R.I.; two stepsons, Josh Holt of Fort Hood, Texas, and Alex Holt of Lubbock; two stepdaughters, Amy Miller of Lubbock and Jennifer L'Insalata of Montgomery, Texas; a brother, Edward Salerno of Hampden; a grandchild and five stepgrandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A graveside service for Susan M. Schweizer Holt, who died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2008, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Ann's Cemetery in Lenox. The funeral took place Jan. 8 in Lubbock, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ROCHE FUNERAL HOME, 120 Main St., Lenox, MA 01240, to help defray expenses.
