Lenox - Bernice B. Fuore, 78, of East Street died Saturday at home.
Born in Lenox on April 12, 1929, daughter of John and Caroline Kruczkowski Baczek, she was a 1947 graduate of Lenox High School, now Lenox Memorial Middle and High School.
Mrs. Fuore was employed by General Electric Co. for 29 years as an assembler in the ordnance division, retiring in 1990.
She was a communicant of St. Ann's Church.
She leaves two sisters, Sophie Szydlowski of West Springfield and Anne McIntyre of Lenox.
Her son, Charles Fuore, died in 1989.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Bernice B. Fuore, who died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007, will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. from ROCHE FUNERAL HOME, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Ann's Church celebrated by the Rev. Christopher J. Waitekus, pastor.
Burial will follow in St. Ann's Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bernice's memory may be made to St. Ann's Parish Family Center, in care of the funeral home, 120 Main St., Lenox, MA 01240.
