Ethel M. Sayers, 79, of 290 Linden St. died Sunday at Springside of Pittsfield, where she had resided for eight months.
Born in Tyringham on Dec. 30, 1927, daughter of Chester and Myra Harrington Cameron, she attended schools there.
She had been a resident of Pittsfield most of her life.
Mrs. Sayers was a homemaker.
Her husband, Harry T. Sayers Sr., whom she married Aug. 27, 1945, in New Lebanon, N.Y., died June 19, 2006.
She leaves three daughters, Terry Lanphear and Karen Bateman, both of Pittsfield, and Cindy Klein of Tampa, Fla.; 10 sons, Harry T. Sayers Jr. of Hinsdale, Theodore Sayers, Michael Sayers, Raymond Sayers, Russell Sayers, Kenneth Sayers, Jeffrey Sayers, Steven Sayers and Ronald Sayers, all of Pittsfield, and Thomas Sayers of Dalton; a sister, Agnes Daury of Pittsfield; 26 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Ethel M. Sayers, who died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2007, will be conducted tomorrow at 11 a.m. at DWYER FUNERAL HOME by the Rev. Russell Moody, minister of the Church of Christ.
Calling hours will be today from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. If friends desire, donations in her memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association in care of the funeral home.
Mrs. Sayers also leaves six daughters-in-law, Peggy, Pauline, Theresa, Shirley, Sue and Mary; a son-in-law, Robert Klein; and three sons' significant others, Joyce DeFino, Patty Brodeur and Terri Hopkins.
