Nina Dawidjan

Nina Dawidjan, 84, of Baystate Place, 414 Chestnut St., Springfield, died Monday at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield.
She was the mother of Sharon S. McClelland of Pittsfield.
Born in the Ukraine on Nov. 25, 1922, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Antuchuk, she lived in Germany before moving to Springfield in 1950.
Mrs. Dawidjan was a homemaker.
She was a communicant of Sts. Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church in Springfield.
Her husband, Ararat Dawidjan, died Nov. 29, 1954.
Besides her daughter, she leaves three sons, Wresch Dawidjan of Nashville, Tenn., Alexander Dawidjan of Spokane, Wash., and Nick Dawidjan of Worcester; two other daughters, Anush Dawidjan of Hong Kong and China Dawidjan of Worcester; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Two sons, Ararat Dawidjan and Sergay Dawidjan, died in 2001 and 2006, respectively.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Nina Dawidjan, who died Monday, Oct. 15, will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at ST. PIERRE-PHANEUF SPRINGFIELD CHAPELS, 7 Chapin Terrace at the corner of Chestnut Street (near Baystate Medical Center)in Springfield.
Burial will follow the service at Oak Grove Cemetery, 426 Bay St., Springfield. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in the Chapin Chapel on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
She leaves her cherished grandchildren, Tara, Esther, Adam and Ryan, and great-grandchildren, Shelby, Courtney, Caleb and Tabatha; her daughter-in-law, Linda Dawidjan; and her son-in-law, Thomas McClelland.
