Peter T. Brett

Peter T. Brett, 70, of 146 Bartlett Ave. died Sunday at home.
Born in Pittsfield on April 19, 1937, son of George and Evelyn Kelly Brett, he was a 1955 graduate of St. Joseph's High School.
Mr. Brett was employed by General Electric Co. for 37 years as a designer, retiring in 1992.
A communicant of St. Teresa's Church, he enjoyed painting, reading, walking throughout the city and competing in marathons.
He was a member of the GE Draftsmen's Union and the GE Quartery Century and Pensioners' clubs.
He and his wife, the former Florence Kubli, were married April 6, 1960, at St. Charles' Church.
Besides his wife, he leaves two daughters, Angela M. Brett of Pittsfield and Alison M. Brett of LaCrescenta, Calif., and four grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Peter T. Brett, who died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2007, will be celebrated Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Teresa's Church by the Rev. Mark Mengel, pastor. Calling hours will be tomorrow from 5 to 7 p.m. at DWYER FUNERAL HOME.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshires, in care of the funeral home, 776 North St., Pittsfield, MA 01201. Mr. Brett was a loving grandfather to Alicia Rhae, Alex M. and Alayna R. Brett-Lucaroni, and Shannon B. Welch.
