Brandon E. Powers, 20, of 214 Allengate Ave., died Monday at home.
Born in Pittsfield on Oct. 25, 1986, son of Edward and Carol Lausier Powers, he was a senior in the special education program at Pittsfield High School.
Mr. Powers enjoyed playing the guitar and drums and listening to the music of the Beach Boys.
Besides his parents, with whom he resided, he leaves a brother, E.J. Powers of Manchester, N.H.; his maternal grandparents, Richard and Angie Lausier of Pittsfield; and his paternal grandmother, Carolyn Chalifoux of Pittsfield.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Brandon E. Powers, who died Monday, Sept. 10, 2007, will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Charles Church by the Rev. Peter A. Gregory, pastor.
There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to UNICO of Pittsfield in care of the DWYER FUNERAL HOME, 776 North St., Pittsfield. Throughout his young life, Brandon enjoyed life to the fullest and touched the hearts of many. His smile and laughter will be missed by everyone he met, especially his family.
The family would especially like to thank Lorie Connor, Sue Schultheis, Vicki Simon and Dr. Richard Rosenfeld for all the care they have given Brandon over the years. Brandon also leaves several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased in June by his grandfather, Adrien "Pete" Chalifoux.
