James J. Heath

James J. Heath, 60, of Robbins Avenue, died Tuesday at Fairview Hospital in Great Barrington.
Born in Pittsfield on Sept. 1, 1946, son of Harry W. Heath Sr. and Katherine Ostrander Heath, he attended schools in Great Barrington, including the former Searles High School.
Mr. Heath was a decorated Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was employed by Kimberly Clark Inc. in Lee for many years and also worked as a professional painter for various companies throughout the county.
He was a New York Yankees and NASCAR fan, and enjoyed country-western music.
He leaves his longtime companion, Rose Herman Sequin of Pittsfield; two daughters, Brenda Heath of Pittsfield, and Lisa Tibbets of Danvers; two sons, James and Timothy Heath, both of Pittsfield; a brother, Harry Heath of Daytona, Fla.; three sisters, Judy and Mary Lou Dunham, both of Great Barrington, and Rowena Bazonski of Pittsfield; and six grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A private family service for James J. Heath, who died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2007, will be conducted by the Rev. Jennifer Henderson of the Berkshire Community Church of Richmond.

He also leaves his grandson, Elvert, with whom he resided; and many nieces and nephews.
