Marion L. Dalton

Marion L. Dalton, 100, of Framingham, formerly of Pittsfield, died Monday at Faulker Hospital in Jamaica Plain.
Born in Pittsfield on March 24, 1907, daughter of John B. and Mary Fogarty Coughter, she graduated from St. Joseph's High School and from Our Lady of the Elms College.
Mrs. Dalton was employed by Pittsfield Public Schools until 1941.
She was raised in St. Joseph's Church parish in Pittsfield and was an active member of St. Bridget's Church in Framingham since 1968.
She was the wife of Edward C. Dalton, who died in July 1990.
Mrs. Dalton leaves two sons, Edward C. Dalton Jr. of Cape Elizabeth, Maine, and William F. Dalton of Virginia Beach, Va.; a daughter, Regina Googins of Cambridge; and three grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral for Marion L. Dalton, who died Aug. 13, 2007, on Thursday at 8 a.m. at NORTON FUNERAL HOME, 53 Beech St., (Corner of Union Ave.) Framingham, followed by her funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in St. Bridget's Church, Route 9, at Framingham Center.
Burial will take place at 12:30 p.m. in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Pittsfield. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. She also leaves two daughters-in-law, Sally (Edward) Dalton and Song (William) Dalton; a son-in-law, Robson Googins; and three grandchildren, Mark Dalton and Alicia and Fane Googins.
