William A. Gross Jr., 46, of 132 Longview Terrace died Sunday at UMass Medical Center in Worcester after a yearlong illness.
Born in Manhattan, N.Y., on March 5, 1961, son of Charlotte Gross and the late William A. Gross Sr., he attended New York City schools.
Before his illness, he was a night staff supervisor at Hillcrest Educational Centers and did private landscaping.
He and his wife, Linda Martin Therrien-Gross, celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary July 16. They were married in Adams.
Besides his wife and mother, of Blauvelt, N.Y., he leaves two stepdaughters, Stacy Sebastino and Sherry Therrien, both of Adams; a brother, Jonathan Gross of Cranberry, N.J.; and six step-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A memorial service for William A. Gross Jr., who died Sunday, July 29, 2007, will be held at the convenience of the family. MCBRIDE FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
There will be no calling hours. Mr. Gross also leaves two nephews.
