Mary T. Bailot

Mary T. Bailot, 75, of 175 Lebanon Ave., died Monday at her son's residence on 13 Columbia Terrace, Adams, where she had resided since April.
Born in Pittsfield on July 7, 1932, daughter of Philip W. and Theresa Laravee Keenan, she was a 1950 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
She was a personal secretary to John H. Rice of Rice's Silk Mill for many years. She later worked for the city of Pittsfield in the Registrar of Voters office. She also was a voter's warden for the 6th Ward for many years and worked as a Pittsfield City Census clerk. She was also a librarian at Stearns School and president of its PTO from 1973-78.
Mrs. Bailot served on the board of directors at Monson Development Center and was a communicant of St. Mark's Church.
She leaves her husband, Louis F. Bailot Jr., whom she married on July 27, 1957.
Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Kevin F. Bailot of Pittsfield and David L. Bailot of Adams; a daughter, Deborah M. McBride of Waterbury, Vt.; and five grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Mary T. Bailot, who died Monday, July 16, 2007, will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. from the DWYER FUNERAL HOME with a concelebrated Liturgy of Christian burial at 10:45 a.m. in St. Mark's Church celebrated by the Rev. John Salatino and the Rev. Regis Giroux.
Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery in Adams. Calling hours will be at the DWYER FUNERAL HOME from 4 to 7 p.m. today. If friends desire, donations may be made in her memory to VNA & Hospice of Northern Berkshire, care of the funeral home, 776 North St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
Mrs. Bailot was a loving grandmother to Jacqueline, Jessica and David Louis, Brigid and John. Mary and her husband had their 50th wedding anniversary blessed in Adams on July 14, 2007, by the Rev. John C. Salatino. She was predeceased by a brother, William Keenan, and a sister, Phyllis Elaine Keenan.
