William Ronald Carmon

William Ronald Carmon, 58, of 75 Massachusetts Ave., died Monday at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.
Born in Pittsfield, May 1, 1949, son of William W. and Florence S. Killela Carmon, he attended local schools and was a 1967 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Mr. Carmon served in the Army during the Vietnam War.
He was employed by Wayside Furniture Co. for 10 years, by the General Electric Co. for 11 years in the ordnance department, and by Troy Bilt Co. For the past 12 years, Mr. Carmon was employed by Denny Condron Construction Co. of Lanesborough.
He married the former Annamarie Zaveruka on Dec. 12, 1975.
Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Dennis E. Charron Jr. of Lakeville, Minn.; a daughter, Kristen Ann Carmon of Beverly; three brothers, Thomas Carmon, David Carmon and Jon Carmon of Pittsfield; and a sister, Diane Carmon of Pittsfield.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for William Ronald Carmon, who died on July 9, 2007, will be conducted on Friday at 10 a.m. at the FLYNN & DAGNOLI-BENCIVENCA FUNERAL HOME with the Rev. Geoffrey J. Deeker C.S.S. Pastor of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church officiating.
Burial will follow in the family plot at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. Other survivors include several nieces and nephews. Mr. Carmon was a collector of Hot Wheels toy cars and classic cars. He also was a Nascar fan and enjoyed watching wrestling on television.
