Margaret R. Wood, 75, of 176 Columbus Ave., died Monday at home.
Born in Pittsfield on Jan. 19, 1932, daughter of Robert and Irene Walker Duggan, she was a 1949 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
She received her master's degree in social work from Cambridge College.
Mrs. Wood formerly was employed as a psychotherapist at Hillcrest Educational Center. Before that, she was employed by Berkshire County ARC and Berkshire Mental Health.
She was a communicant of St. Mark's Church.
She leaves a brother, James P. Duggan of Naples, Fla.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Margaret R. "Peggy" Duggan Wood, 75, who died Monday, April 23, 2007, will be celebrated tomorrow, April 26, at 10 a.m. at St. Mark's Church by the Rev. John Salatino, pastor. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
The family will receive guests tomorrow from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral at DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, donations in her memory may be made to St. Mark's Church, in care of the funeral home, 40 Maplewood Ave., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
