Sandra-Lee Sumliner

Sandra-Lee Sumliner, 73, formerly of Kingston, N.Y., died Wednesday at Craneville Place., where she had resided for two years.
Born in West Hartford, Conn., on March 15, 1933, daughter of Aaron G. and Doris Fisher Cohen, she graduated from William Hall High School in West Hartford, in 1952.
She also attended Morse Business College.
Mrs. Sumliner was employed by Sen. Abraham Ribicoff and later joined her father at his automobile business in Hartford.
She enjoyed poetry, reading The Daily Word, palm reading and spirituality, telling stories and a good pun and baking pies, which she donated to fire, police and municipal workers.
She married the late Herbert Sumliner in 1956 and settled in Kingston, N.Y.
She leaves two sons, Aaron Sumliner Williams of St. Louis, Mo., and Carl Sumliner of Kingston, N.Y.; and two grandsons.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The family of Sandra-Lee Sumliner, who died Wednesday, March 14, 2007, wishes to thank the entire staff at Craneville Place of Dalton, the Jewish Family Service of Western Mass. and HospiceCare in the Berkshires for their kindness, love and tireless effort in giving such wonderful care to our mother.
Mrs. Sumliner also leaves two grandsons, David and Jordan Sumliner of Kingston, N.Y. A brother, Aaron William Cohen died in combat in the Battle of the Bulge. A sister, Miriam Grusik, is also deceased.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Jewish Family Service of Western Mass. care of the WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME, 220 East St., Pittsfield, MA 01201, which is in charge of arrangements. Internment will be at the Beth Israel Cemetery in Hartford, Conn.
