Christine Dupré, 66, of Laurinburg, N.C., mother of Christine E. Dupré of Dalton, died Friday at Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg.
Born in Milford on Jan. 24, 1941, she was the daughter of James and Eleanor Clark Farrell.
Mrs. Dupré was a homemaker.
She was a member of Stewartsville Baptist Church.
She was the wife of the Rev. Arthur J. "Duke" Dupré Jr.
Besides her husband and daughter, she leaves another daughter, Lisa A. Pierce of Standish, Maine; a son, Mark J. Dupré of Woonsocket, R.I.; two brothers; nine sisters; and nine grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Christine F. Dupré died Friday, Feb. 9, 2007. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at Stewartsville Baptist Church. The funeral will be conducted tomorrow at 11 at the church by the Rev. Stephen Owenby and the Rev. Lewis McLean. Interment will be at a later date.
The family requests that memorials be made to Stewartsville Baptist Church, 10401 McColl Highway, Laurinburg, NC 28352. RICHARD BOLES FUNERAL SERVICE of Laurinburg is serving the family.
Mrs. Dupré also leaves a son-in-law, Mark Pierce of Standish. She was a loving Christian wife, mother and grandmother. Christine always had a smile and a special way of making others laugh.
