Mary C. Conti, 85, formerly of 26 Pleasure Ave., died Friday at Springside Nursing Care Facility after a long illness.
Born in Pittsfield on March 18, 1921, daughter of Joseph and Rose Loverde Conti, she attended local schools.
Miss Conti was a communicant of Mount Carmel Church.
She leaves a sister, Jennie Sciola of Pittsfield, and a brother, Michael Conti of Pittsfield.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Miss Mary C. Conti, who died Friday, Jan. 19, 2007, in Pittsfield, will be Wednesday at 10 from DWYER FUNERAL HOME, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 at Mount Carmel Church celebrated by the Rev. Geoffrey J. Deeker, pastor.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice in care of the funeral home in her memory.
Miss Conti also leaves three nieces; three nephews; 16 great-nieces and -nephews; and six great-great-nieces and -great-nephews. She enjoyed spending time with her family and, especially, holidays at her sister and brother-in-law's home.
