Beatrice Marie Lesh, 89, of New Lenox Road died Sunday at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Franklin, N.J., on Aug. 29, 1917, daughter of Lewis and Grace Kays Talmadge, she attended schools in Yonkers, N.Y., and graduated in 1935 from Commerce High School.
Mrs. Lesh made her home in North Easton for many years and resided in Lenox since 1982.
She was employed as an executive secretary for various businesses in New York and Massachusetts, retiring in 1971.
She and her husband, Walter Lesh, were married Aug. 31, 1940.
Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, Christine Kalinowski of Lenox and Jacqueline Davis of Hopewell, Va.; a brother, Donald L. Talmadge of Fairfield, Conn.; two sisters, Doris McIndoe of Barnwell, S.C., and Shirley Koster of Lowville, N.Y.; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A private funeral for Beatrice M. Lesh, who died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2006, will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. at the ROCHE FUNERAL HOME by the Rev. William Furey, pastor of Berkshire Union Chapel.
Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either VNA of the Berkshires or Elder Service of Berkshire County, both in care of the funeral home, 120 Main St., Lenox, MA 01240.
Mrs. Lesh also leaves her beloved grandchildren, Jason and Sandra White, Jennifer Pascucci, Michael E. and Jessica Kalinowski, Jeffrey S. Davis, Tina D. Campbell and Stephanie D. Renn.
