Robert M. Littlejohn, 79, of Morgan Manor died Saturday at home after a short illness.
Born in Oakland, Calif., on June 8, 1927, son of Hugh and Dorothy Williams Littlejohn, he was a 1945 graduate of Pomfret (Conn.) School and received his bachelor's degree in economics from Yale University in 1950.
He moved to Lenox 30 years ago.
A Navy veteran of World War II, he served from July 6, 1945, to Aug. 21, 1946, and was discharged as a specialist third class.
Mr. Littlejohn was employed by J. Walter Thompson Co. in New York as an advertising executive during the 1950s.
He leaves a nephew, Kevin Mullally of Berkeley, Calif., and a niece, Nina Mullally Biggs of Honolulu.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Mr. Robert M. Littlejohn of Lenox died peacefully at his home on Nov. 4, 2006, after a brief illness. He leaves a niece, a nephew and cousins who will all miss him. A memorial service will be conducted Friday, Nov. 10, at 12:30 at Trinity Church, 88 Walker St., Lenox, by the Rev. Stephen P. Booth, rector.
There will be no calling hours, and burial will be at the convenience of his family. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshires, in care of ROCHE FUNERAL HOME, 120 Main St., Lenox, MA 01240.
