Jennie S. Perreault

Jennie S. Perreault, 84, formerly of Sugar Hill, died Wednesday at Hillcrest Commons, where she had resided since June 2005.
Born in Pittsfield on April 21, 1922, daughter of Charles and Sheila Mierzejewski Hermanski, she was educated in Pittsfield schools and was a 1940 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Mrs. Perreault was a homemaker.
She was a communicant of St. Agnes' Church, where she taught CCD, and was a former member of its Rosary Soldality. She was an avid walker and also enjoyed cooking.
Her husband, George V. Perreault, whom she married Sept. 9, 1944, died Sept. 6, 2005.
She leaves three sons, Thomas L. Perreault of Dalton, George R. Perreault of Dumfries, Va., and Vinal R. Perreault of Houston; a daughter, Deborah A. Fontaine of Belchertown; a brother, Edward Hermanski of Pittsfield; a sister, Wanda Morse of Pittsfield; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Jennie S. Perreault, who died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2006, will be Monday, Oct. 30, at 10 a.m. at St. Agnes' Church, Dalton, celebrated by the Rev. Christopher A. Malatesta, pastor.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Perreault may be made to St. Agnes' School in care of DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME, 890 East Main St., Dalton.
Mrs. Perreault loved being with her family and grandchildren and especially being with her favorite son, Vinal. She was predeceased by two brothers, Ray Hermanski and Majek Hermanski; and a sister, Helen Fisher.
