Nellie A. Quinn, 86, of 110 Depot St. died at the home of her granddaughter, Tracy Crouch, with whom she had made her home for three years.
Born in Belton, S.C., on Feb. 9, 1920, daughter of George and Myra Ingram Epps, she was educated in schools there.
She moved to Lee in the 1950s, where she had resided until moving to Dalton.
Mrs. Quinn was employed as a housekeeper at Eastover Resort in Lenox.
She enjoyed crocheting and knitting.
Her husband, Winthrop R. Quinn, died Feb. 5, 1991.
Besides her granddaughter, she leaves a son, William R. Quinn of Otis; a daughter, Susie E. Young of Lee; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Nellie A. Quinn died Friday, Sept. 29, 2006. She also leaves her other grandchildren, Nathan, Josh, Nickie and Tommy, and her great-grandchildren, Brandi, Candus, Emerald, Nevin, Tracy, Hannah and Josh.
She enjoyed baby-sitting for the family pets, Abby and Diddle. She will be sadly missed by those close to her. A graveside service will be held Monday, Oct. 2, at 1 at Fairmount Cemetery in Lee. There will be no visiting hours.
