Dennis Albert Lussier

Dennis Albert Lussier, 51, of 242 Wahconah St. died yesterday at Berkshire Medical Center after a long illness.
Born in Pittsfield on March 5, 1955, son of Gil A. Lussier and the late Carmella Sciola Lussier, he was a 1973 graduate of Taconic High School.
Mr. Lussier was employed by General Electric Co. for 20 years as an assembler in the small-transformer department, where he was also a shop steward. He retired several years ago because of ill health.
An antiques collector, he was also a vendor at the New Lebanon (N.Y.) flea market, where he sold antiques and collectibles for more than 20 years.
Besides his father, of Pittsfield, he leaves two daughters, Jennifer Lussier and Priscilla Lussier, both of Pittsfield; four brothers, David Lussier and Kevin Lussier, both of Pittsfield, Paul Lussier of Farmingdale, N.J., and Alan Lussier of Hinsdale; a sister, Lisa M. Perry of Dalton; his former wife, Rosemary Kruczkowski Lussier, and a granddaughter.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Dennis Albert Lussier, who died Thursday, Aug. 17, 2006, will be conducted Saturday, Aug. 19, at 11 at DERY FUNERAL HOME by the Rev. Peter A. Gregory, pastor of St. Charles' Church.
Burial will follow in Pittsfield Cemetery. Calling hours will be today from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mr. Lussier may be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshires or to the Friends of Eleanor Sonsini Animal Shelter, both in care of the funeral home, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
Mr. Lussier also leaves his granddaughter, Serena Lussier.
