Mollie Hermon, 73, formerly of 6 Gordon St., died Friday, June 23, at the Center for Providence Care, where she had been a resident for a short time.
Born in Harwich on March 26, 1933, daughter of Cyrus C. and Avis M. Allen Lee, she attended Harwich area schools.
Mrs. Hermon was employed by the former Sprague Electric Co. in a variety of different jobs. Most recently she was employed by Michael's Crafts as a cashier, retiring in 2005.
She was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, and enjoyed knitting, crocheting and traveling.
Her former husband, William Hermon, died in 1987.
She leaves two daughters, Linda Brown of Port St. Lucie, Fla., and Susan Para of Dalton; two sons, William Hermon of Pittsfield and Richard Hermon of Littleton, Colo.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Funeral services for Mrs. Mollie Hermon, who died Friday, June 23, 2006, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at BARTLETT WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME, 525 Main St., Dalton, MA 01226 with the Rev. Gwen Sears officiating.
Burial will follow in the Ashuelot Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of service. Donations in her memory may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
She leaves her grandchildren Nicholas Cantu, Skylar Cantu, Lacy Para and Erin Farrell. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
