Marianne Hagenguth

Marianne Hagenguth, 102, formerly of 20 Boylston St., died Friday, June 23, at Providence Care Center in Lenox.
Born in Dresden, Germany on Nov. 22, 1903, daughter of Kurt and Maria Wehrtmann Bennwitz, she settled in Pittsfield in 1928.
Mrs. Hagenguth participated in the Berkshire Historical and Caroline Adams societies, Berkshire Medical Center Auxiliary and the Girl Scout program.
She enjoyed gardening, piano playing, theater, dance, music, applied arts and foreign travel.
She and her husband, Julius H. Hagenguth, who managed General Electric High Voltage Research Laboratory, were married March 5, 1926, in New York City. He died Feb. 14, 1969.
She leaves her daughter, Astrid Hagenguth, of New York City.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- There will no calling hours for Marianne Hagenguth, who died Friday, June 23, 2006.
Arrangements are being made with WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME.
