William C. Hendricks, 55, of 444 Dalton Ave. died Saturday at Berkshire Medical Center after a long illness.
Born Jan. 12, 1951, in Pittsfield, son of William G. and Sarah Finizola Hendricks, he was educated in Pittsfield schools and graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1968.
Mr., Hendricks was a machinist for Schweitzer-Clark for 37 years.
He was an Oakland Raiders fan and loved being outdoors, especially going camping.
He leaves his wife, the former Cynthia Sherman, whom he married June 16, 1973.
In addition to his wife, he leaves a daughter, Jody L. Manzolini of Pittsfield; a sister, Carol A. Doucette of Pittsfield, and two grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for William C. Hendricks, who died Saturday, June 17, 2006, will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at BARTLETT-WEILLINGTON FUNERAL HOME, 525 Main St., Dalton, MA 01226, with the Rev. Robert Rennie officiating.
Burial will follow in the Cheshire Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Pediatric Development Center, 388 Columbus Ave., Pittsfield, MA 01021.
He also leaves a son-in-law, Jeremy W. Manzolini; a grandson, Kyle R. Manzolini of Pittsfield; a granddaughter, Hannah L. Manzolini of Pittsfield, and two nieces.
