Eileen F. Schnopp, 80, of 9 Crane Ave. died Friday at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on April 5, 1926, daughter of Richard and Elizabeth Baumann Fox, she was educated in Dalton schools, and was a 1944 graduate of the former Dalton High School.
She was employed by General Electric Co. as a production planner for over forty years, retiring in 1986.
She was a communicant of St. Agnes' Church.
She leaves a sister, Betty Martenson of Springfield.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Funeral services for Eileen F. Schnopp, who died Friday, June 9, 2006, will be private. Burial will take place in the family lot in Ashuelot Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
Eileen leaves her loving sister, Betty Martenson of Springfield, her three nephews, Kris and Eric Martenson, both of Springfield, and Jon Martensson and his wife Lisa, of East Longmeadow. She also leaves a grand-nephew, Spencer Martensson, and a grand-niece, Seneca Martensson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Dalton Ambulance Fund in care of DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME, 890 Main Street, Dalton, MA 01226, which is in charge of arrangements. Her greatest joy was her family.
