Antonia Maryann Les, 91, of 86 Linden St. died Sunday at her home.
Born in Pittsfield on Oct. 22, 1914, daughter of Lukas and Mary Aubar Jamula, she was a graduate of Pittsfield schools.
Mrs. Les had been employed as a tester for General Electric Co., retiring in the mid-1980s after 20 years of service. Previously, she was employed at the former Elmvale and Wyandott mills.
She was a communicant of Holy Family Church and a member of the Pittsfield Senior Citizens.
She enjoyed crafts and needlepoint, knitting and crocheting, and baking and cake decorating.
Her husband, Frederick Les, died in 1954. Mrs. Les leaves a son, Richard F. Les of West Palm Beach, Fla.; a sister, Nellie Barron of Pittsfield, and a brother, Edward Jamula of Lanesborough.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A graveside service for Antonia Maryann Les, who died Sunday, June 4, 2006, will be Friday, June 9, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Cemetery, with the Rev. Michael A. Shershanovich, pastor of Holy Family Church, officiating.
Those attending are invited to meet inside the cemetery gate at 10:45 a.m. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Les may be made to Holy Family Church in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
Mrs. Les was predeceased by four sisters, Helen Jamula, Della Paquette, Bernice Bianco and MaryAnn Bulsa.
