Paul G. "Greg" Fox, 49, of Cables Lane, Thomaston, Conn., died yesterday at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, Conn., after a brief illness.
Born in Kansas City, Mo., on Sept. 10, 1956, son of Lawrence N. and Joy Eldridge Fox of Lenox, he grew up in the midwest and moved to Connecticut in 1985.
He served in the U.S. Army.
He was employed as an artist and woodcarver, having carved many signs in the Thomaston area.
He loved horses.
Besides his parents, he leaves his wife, the former Marion L. Hubbard, three daughters, Shalane Flint of Woodville, Wis., Charlotte Fox of Bristol, Conn. and Adrian Fox of Thomaston, Conn.; two sisters, Sara A. Fox of Pittsfield and Monica L. Fox of Randolf, and a grandson.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Funeral services for Paul G. Fox, who died Wednesday, June 7, 2006, will be held on Saturday, June 10 at 11 a.m. at LYONS FUNERAL HOME, 46 High St., Thomaston, Conn. Burial is in Hillside Cemetery, Thomaston.
Calling hours are from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Thomaston Beautification Committee to replace the sign in Seth Thomas Park, care of Town Hall, Main Street, Thomaston, CT 06787.
