Carmella Isabelle Lussier, 75, of 21 Elberon Ave. died Sunday at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on Dec. 10, 1930, daughter of James and Isabelle Vallone Sciola, she was a graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Mrs. Lussier and her husband, Gill A. Lussier, and son, Allen O. Lussier, owned and operated the Dalton Restaurant for 20 years. It is now owned by Jane Lussier.
She was a communicant of St. Charles' Church and a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas.
She enjoyed baking and shopping.
She and her husband were married Jan. 14, 1950.
Besides her husband and son, of Hinsdale, she leaves a daughter, Lisa Perry of Dalton; four other sons, David A. Lussier, Kevin M. Lussier and Dennis A. Lussier, all of Pittsfield, and Paul R. Lussier of Farmingdale, N.J.; two sisters, Angelina Lausier of Pittsfield and Rose Pellizari of Loveland, Colo.; a brother, Benjamin Sciola of Pittsfield; 13 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Carmella Isabelle Lussier, who died Sunday, June 4, will be Thursday, June 8, 2006, at 9:15 from DERY FUNERAL HOME, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 at St. Charles' Church celebrated by the Rev. Peter A. Gregory, pastor. Entombment will follow in St. Michael the Archangel Mausoleum in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
Calling hours will be tomorrow from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Lussier may be made to the American Heart Association in care of the funeral home, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, 01201.
Mrs. Lussier was predeceased by three sisters, Nicolina Dupuis, Theresa Bishop and Catherine Bond, and by three brothers, Anthony, Michael and James Sciola. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
