Peter E. Deiana, 57, of 92 Dalton Ave. died Tuesday at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Framingham on Nov. 23, 1948, son of Edward and Mary Jean McNamara Deiana, he was a 1967 graduate of Pittsfield High School and attended Berkshire Community College.
Mr. Deiana was employed by Hillcrest Hospital in security and housekeeping for 13 years. He also worked at Sunny Day Music store, and, for 30 years, at BD Music. He previously was a draftsman at General Electric Co.
A musician by profession, he played in many bands, including Fly by Night, Corporation Plus, Hip Pocket, Quarry Men and Silvertones.
He leaves two sons, Jason S. Deiana and Pete B. Deiana, both of Las Vegas, and four grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A celebration of the life of Peter E. Deiana, who died Tuesday, May 30, 2006, is being planned, and all who knew him will be most welcome to attend.
The day, time and place will be announced when arrangements have been completed. DERY FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Deiana leaves four grandchildren, Julianne, Anthony, Brittany and Robert, and his former wife, Christine Kirby Deiana.
