Angelina Malafronte, 84, of 1799 Dublin Road, died Saturday at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in New Haven, Conn., on Dec. 23, 1921, daughter of Michael and Josephine Cofrancesco Mellilo, she attended schools in New Haven.
She moved to Richmond 15 years ago.
Mrs. Malafronte was employed by the former New Haven Lumber Co. as a bookkeeper.
She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church in West Stockbridge and a member of Notre Dame High School Mother's Club in West Haven.
Her husband, Henry Malafronte Sr., died in 1997. They were married in 1942.
She leaves three sons, Henry Malafronte Jr. of Richmond, Dr. Pasquale Malafronte of Lincoln, R.I., and Ralph Malafronte of Fort Myers, Fla., and seven grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Angelina Malafronte, who died Saturday, May 20, 2006, will be Friday at 9:20 from CELENTANO FUNERAL HOME, 424 Elm St. (corner of Dwight), New Haven, Conn., with a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 at St. Anthony's Church, 70 Washington Ave., New Haven.
Friends may call at the funeral home tomorrow, May 25, from 4 to 8. Interment will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven, Conn. She also leaves seven grandchildren, Tara, Raphael, Natalie, Francesca, Pasquale Jr., Halsey and Laken.
She was predeceased by a sister, Mary Malafronte.
