Helen Ingham

Helen Ingham, 86, of 86 Allengate Ave. died Tuesday at Berkshire Medical Center following a long illness.
For the past two years, she had resided at Sugar Hill in Dalton.
Born in Northampton on April 7, 1920, daughter of Harold and Elsie Qualey Jamieson, she graduated from Northampton High School and McCarthy Business School.
She was employed at the Springfield Armory and at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Leeds.
Mrs. Ingham moved to Pittsfield in 1964. She was employed at the former St. Luke's Hospital and also at Berkshire Medical Center.
She was a communicant of St. Mary the Morning Star Church.
Her husband of 62 years, Harry Ingham, died Aug. 11, 2005.
She leaves a son, Kevin Ingham of Pittsfield.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Funeral services for Helen Ingham, who died Tuesday, May 16, 2006, will be Friday, May 19, at 10 a.m. from DERY FUNERAL HOME, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary the Morning Star Church, celebrated by the Rev. Paul A. Bombardier, pastor.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday, from 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Contributions in memory of Mrs. Ingham may be made to the charity of one's choice.
