Ann M. Greb, 96, of 46 New Road died Monday morning at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on May 16, 1909, daughter of Thomas A and Rhoda A. Beckwith Street, she was educated in Pittsfield schools.
A homemaker, Mrs. Greb was a former communicant of St. Charles Church.
Her husband, Joseph F. Greb, whom she married Nov. 26, 1928, died July 17, 1969.
She is survived by a son, Jeffery J. Greb of Pittsfield; a daughter, Rhoda L. Moran of North Adams; a sister, Rhoda Machaby of Pittsfield; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Barbara A. Kruger, and a son, Edward A. Greb.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Ann M. Greb died May 15, 2006, in Pittsfield. Following cremation at the request of Ann and her family, a graveside service will be held at St. Joseph's Cemetery on Saturday, June 3, at 10:30 a.m. Those attending are asked to meet inside the cemetery gates at 10:15 a.m.
There will be no calling hours. She was predeceased by a twin sister, Irene Harrington; four other sisters and six brothers, several nieces and nephews.
She also leaves several nieces and nephews. Ms. Greb enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, playing Kings in the Corners. If friends desire, memorial donations may be made to the Ann Greb Scholarship Fund in care of DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME which is in charge of arrangements.
