Faith A. Fetridge

Faith A. Fetridge, 83, died Saturday at the home of her daughter Karen Lynn Arsenault at 44 South Merriam St.
Born in Pittsfield on May 22, 1922, daughter of Sophia Davenport, she was a 1940 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Mrs. Fetridge was employed by General Electric Co. for 10 years as an inspector. She also was office manager for 10 years at Berkshire Television, which was owned by her son, Richard Scott Fetridge, and was employed part time at Pilgrim Memorial Church.
She was a member of Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Red Hat Camellias and the Greylock Credit Union Quality Control committee. She helped run bus trips to plays and casinos for Dufour Tours.
She did volunteer work for the Heart Association, the American Cancer Society and the March of Dimes, and for Multiple Sclerosis and Muscular Dystrophy. She enjoyed traveling, going to the theater and visiting casinos.
She and her husband, G. Scott Fetridge, were married Aug. 3, 1946. He died Jan. 8, 1989.
Besides her daughter and son, of Fayette, N.Y., she leaves another daughter, Debra Jean Senger of Pittsfield; a sister, Leah Travers of Bonita Springs, Fla.; four grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Faith A. Fetridge, who died Saturday, May 13, 2006, was a loving grandmother to Marine Sgt. Jeremy Cowell of Virginia Beach, Lindsey Fetridge of Otis, and Jennifer and Jaclyn Arsenault, both of Pittsfield.
She also leaves a loving great-granddaughter, Kaylie Cowell of North Carolina, and several nieces and nephews. She was a loving mother-in-law to Wendy Fetridge and Arthur Arsenault.
The funeral will be conducted Thursday, May 18, at 11 at DWYER FUNERAL HOME by the Rev. Peter Boehringer, pastor of Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Burial will follow in Pittsfield Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be tomorrow, May 17, from 4 to 7. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Berkshire Humane Society or to Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church in her memory.
