Terrence A. Tart, 54, of 395 Cloverdale St. died suddenly on Sunday at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on July 27, 1951, son of Raymond and Shirley Harrington Tart, he was a 1972 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Mr. Tart was employed for the past ten years by Pete's Motors on East Street as a body shop technician.
He was a member of the Berkshire Community Church in Richmond.
He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hiking in the woods, helping others when they needed it, and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He leaves his wife, the former Mary Foster, whom he married September 1, 1972.
He leaves his parents, of Pittsfield; a daughter, Katherine Tart of Pittsfield; three sons, Jesse Tart, John Tart and Nicholas Tart, all of Pittsfield; six sisters, Mary Lou Campbell of Stockbridge, Cindy Sanford, Shirley Tart, Jennifer Ruel, and Melissa Tart, all of Pittsfield, and Tabitha McGonagle of Nashville, Tenn.; a brother, Raymond Tart of Pittsfield, and eight grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Funeral services for Terrence A. Tart, who died Sunday, May 7, 2006, will be held Thursday, May 11, at 11 a.m. at WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME, with the Rev. Roberta Heath, pastor of the Berkshire Community Church, officiating. Cremation will follow.
Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Donations in his memory may be made to a charity of the donor's choice, care of the funeral home, 220 East St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
