Suanne M. Condron, 69, of 329 Pittsfield Road, Devonshire Estates, died Wednesday at Hillcrest Commons, where she resided for a short time.
Born in Southampton, N.Y., on March 5, 1937, daughter of retired Air Force Col. John E. Condron Sr. and Catherine Coughlan Condron, she graduated from Holy Trinity High School in Washington, D.C. She attended Mary Washington College in Virginia and the University of Dayton in Ohio and graduated from Good Samaritan School of Nursing, also in Dayton.
She served with the Army Medical Corps in Nuremberg, Germany, during the Vietnam War, from 1968 to 1970.
Ms. Condron was employed by Canyon Ranch from 1992 to 1999 as a ladies' locker room attendant. She previously worked at the former England's department store.
She was a communicant of St. Teresa's Church.
She leaves a brother, John E. Condron Jr. of Hernando, Fla.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Suzanne M. Condron, 69, who died May 3, will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 at St. Teresa's Church by her cousin, the Rev. John Worthley.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. The family will receive guests Wednesday from 9 until the time of the funeral at DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME, 40 Maplewood Ave. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, donations in her memory may be made to the Eleanor Sonsini Animal Shelter in care of the funeral home.
She also leaves two nieces, Maureen A. Condron of San Francisco and Colleen M. Condron-Brelsford of Fort Wayne, Ind., and a sister-in-law, Marlene Condron of Hernando, Fla.
