Elizabeth Minneci, 77, of 31 Newell St. died Tuesday at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on Aug. 22, 1928, daughter of Salvatore and Mary Lucretia Minneci, she was a 1946 graduate of Pittsfield High School and continued her education at Alfred University in Alfred, N.Y.
She worked in Berkshire County for 59 years, employed by General Electric, The Marian Center in Stockbridge, the former Morgan-Grampion Buttenheim Publishing Co., and Berkshire Computer Systems in Lenox.
Ms. Minneci enjoyed traveling, artwork, music and gardening.
She was a member, organist and historian for the First United Methodist Church in Lenox.
Ms. Minneci was also an organist for Hinsdale Congregational Church and sang in the Oratorio Choir for the First Congregational Church in Pittsfield.
She leaves behind a brother, Daniel Minneci of Lanesborough.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Elizabeth Minneci died Tuesday, May 2, 2006. Per Ms. Minneci's wishes, there will be no calling hours and no services.
A private graveside service will be held, with the Rev. Eric Dupee officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the United Methodist Church of Lenox or Charity of Covice.
She also leaves a sister-in-law, Linda Minneci of Lanesborough.
