Ann B. Johnson, 66, of 11 Robert St. died at her home Monday night.
Born in Pittsfield on May 8, 1939, daughter of Robert H. and Jane Rennie Bingham, she graduated with honors from Pittsfield High School in 1957 and attended University of Massachusetts and the former North Adams State College.
Mrs. Johnson was employed by Berkshire Life Insurance Company and then was the secretary at A.H. Rice Co. for the president and vice president, and retired in 2001 from O'Connell Oil Association, where she was employed as secretary.
She enjoyed sewing, knitting, gardening and the Boston Red Sox.
Mrs. Johnson was a communicant of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, where she was a member of the Altar Guild for several years and a volunteer at St. Stephen's Table for many years.
She leaves a daughter, Deborah Flynn of Pittsfield; a son, Terrill Johnson of Pittsfield; two sisters, Charlene DiCicco and Barbara Barry, both of Pittsfield, and four grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Funeral services for Mrs. Ann B. Johnson, who died Monday, April 24, 2006, will be held Thursday, April 27, at 1 p.m. at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church with the Rev. Canon Hannah Anderson, pastor, officiating.
There will be no calling hours. Among survivors are her grandchildren, Kyle, Sean, Brianna, and Kerry Flynn. In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to either St. Stephen's Table or to HospiceCare in the Berkshires, in care of WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME, 220 East St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
