Sandra K. Clark, 65, of 132 Cranbrook Blvd., Monroe, Mich., a native of Pittsfield, died Saturday at home.
Born on Feb. 23, 1941, daughter of Guy and Ria Brundage Simmons, she was a 1959 graduate of St. Joseph's High School and a graduate of the former Berkshire Business College.
She moved to Monroe in 1963.
Mrs. Clark was the manager of Monroe House of Travel for 18 years, retiring in 1996. While in Pittsfield, she worked at the Registry of Deeds.
She was a communicant of St. John's Church.
She and her husband, George W. Clark, were married July 18, 1962, in Pittsfield. He died April 4, 2003.
She leaves two daughters, Cheryl L. Houle of Housatonic and Leigh M. Shemenski of Royal Oak, Mich.; a son, Christopher M. Clark of Monroe; two sisters, Elizabeth Simmons of Pittsfield and Rita Kramp of Newport Beach, Calif.; four brothers, Robert Simmons of West Park, N.Y., William Simmons of Dennisport, and James Simmons and John Simmons, both of Pittsfield, and eight grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Memorial services for Sandra K. Clark, who died April 15, 2006, will be held April 29 at 10 at Corpus Christi Church in Housatonic and May 6 at noon at BACARELLA FUNERAL HOME in Monroe, Mich.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 until the time of the service. She leaves two sons-in-law, Andrew and Roland, and two sisters-in-law, Nancy and Jane Simmons.
