Pearl Edna Devins, 81, of 10 Union Court died yesterday at Mount Greylock Extended Care Facility, where she had been a patient since Friday.
Born in Pittsfield on April 11, 1924, daughter of George and Helena Bevins Marsh, she was educated in Springfield schools.
Mrs. Devins was a homemaker.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church and enjoyed reading.
She and her husband, Arthur V. Devins, celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary Feb. 21. They were married in Springfield.
Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, Mary Frances Greengold and Patricia Helena Rinaldi, both of Pittsfield; three grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-granddaughter.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Pearl Edna Devins, who died Monday, April 10, 2006, also leaves her son-in-law, Mark Greengold. She was predeceased by a grandson, Wayne Rinaldi.
The funeral will be conducted Friday, April 14, at 11 at DERY FUNERAL HOME by the Rev. William D. Furey, pastor of Berkshire Union Chapel. Burial will follow in Pittsfield Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 6 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Devins may be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of the funeral home, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
