Richard Antonangeli

Richard Antonangeli, 75, of 279 Elm St., died Thursday at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on Sept. 7, 1930, son of Louis and Cecelia Antonangeli Antonangeli, he was educated in Pittsfield schools.
An Army veteran of the Korean War, he served from 1953 to 1955 and was discharged with the rank of corporal.
Mr. Antonangeli was employed by the former New England Furniture Co. as a carpet installer for many years.
He enjoyed television cooking shows and was a NASCAR fan.
He and his wife, the former Phyllis Sagendorph, were married in 1960. She died Feb. 17, 2005.
He leaves a son, Richard P. Antonangeli of Pittsfield; a brother, Louis Antonangeli of Pittsfield; and three sisters, Emma LaBrie, Ann Constanzo and Rose Galvagni, all of Pittsfield.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Richard Antonangeli, who died Thursday, March 16, 2006, will be private. He will be buried in Pittsfield Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA 01201. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister and brothers.
