Robin G. Holloway

Robin G. Holloway, 72, of Doylestown, Pa., died Wednesday at Doylestown Hospital from complications resulting from the treatment of lymphoma. He served on the board of the Berkshire Opera Company for many years, most recently as a board chairman.
Born in Madison on May 10, 1933, son of W. Rupert and Constance Gould Holloway, he was a graduate of Hamilton College and the senior management program at the Harvard Business School. Later, he served as an officer in the Navy.
Following his service in the Navy, he served as an actuary for Equitable Life Assurance Society of the United States and then moved to the firm Towers, Perrin, Forster & Crosby, where he managed the employee benefits practices in their New York and Chicago offices. He then went on to manage the company's overseas offices and actuaries. He was also a member of the American Academy of Actuaries and the Society of Actuaries.
Mr. Holloway served on the board of the Bucks County Theatre for numerous years, recently serving as treasurer.
Mr. Holloway was married to the former Sharon Malm.
In addition to his wife, he leaves two daughters, Heath Heverling of Hopkinton and Carrie Uzelac of Doylestown, Pa., and four grandchildren, Andrew, Molly, Haley and Brian.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Interment for Robin G. Halloway, who died Wednesday, March 8, 2006, will be held privately, and a memorial service will be held in the Berkshires later this summer.
Memorial contributions in Mr. Holloway's name may be made to the Berkshire Opera Company, 297 North St., Pittsfield, MA 01201. He also leaves two sons-in-law, David Heverling of Hopkinton and Gary Uzelac of Doylestown, Pa.
