Judy Mae Keech

Judy Mae Keech, 62, formerly of Bradford Street, died Tuesday at Sweet Brook Care Centers in Williamstown.
Born in Keene, N.H., on Oct. 5, 1943, daughter of Randall and Pauline Porter Rogers, she attended schools in Winchester, N.H., and Orange.
She graduated from Greenfield Community College, as well as the Thompson School of Practical Nursing in Brattleboro, Vt., and Southern Vermont College in Bennington, Vt.
Mrs. Keech had been working at Mount Greylock Extended Care Facility until her illness forced her to retire. Before working there she had been a nurse at Bellows Falls (Vt.) Hospital, Springfield Hospital and Visiting Nurses Association of Springfield, Vt., and Poet Seat Nursing Home in Greenfield.
She was a member of Galiean Shrine No. 19, and she enjoyed NASCAR and country music, especially Elvis.
She leaves a son, Donald Matthews of Warwick; two daughters, Bonnie Hammond of Colebrook, N.H., and Carrie Williams of Greenfield; a brother, William Rogers of Mississippi; two sisters, Jane Rogers and Karen Rogers, both of Delaware; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and two step-great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Funeral services for Judy Mae Keech, who died Feb. 28, 2006, will be held Saturday, March 4, 2006, at WITTY'S FUNERAL HOME, 158 South Main St., Orange, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in South Cemetery, Orange.
Calling hours will be held Friday evening at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Shriner's Children's Hospital, 516 Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104.
