Patricia Kibby, 73, of 1645 West Housatonic St. died at her home Sunday morning.
Born Sept. 22, 1932, in North Adams, daughter of Leo C. and Julia A. Reardon Gagnon, she graduated from St. Joseph's' School in North Adams in 1950.
Mrs. Kibby was employed by the former New England Telephone Co. as an operator in North Adams, and then was transferred to the Pittsfield office.
Following her marriage and her children being born, she stayed home to be a mother and homemaker for her family.
She was a member of St. Mark's Church.
Her husband, Earl W. Kibby Jr., whom she married Nov. 22, 1957, died Jan. 8, 1995.
She leaves three daughters, Nancy Slattery of Pittsfield, Jane Kibby-Peirce of Middlefield and Lori Kibby Renaud of San Antonio; two sons, Earl W. Kibby III of Manchester, Conn., and John C. Kibby of Pittsfield; a sister, Maryjoan Vigiard of Adams; two brothers, Bill Gagnon of Akene, S.C., and Raymond J. Gagnon of North Adams, and 15 grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Funeral services for Mrs. Patricia Kibby, who died Sunday, Feb. 5, 2006, will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME, with the Rev. Daniel Brunton officiating.
Burial will follow in the Pittsfield Cemetery. There will be an hour of calling hours the day of the service from noon until the time of the service. Donations in her memory may be made to either HospiceCare in the Berkshires or the Senior Day Center care of the funeral home 220 East St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
She leaves many cousins, nieces and nephews in North Adams. Pat passed away peacefully early Sunday morning at her home surrounded by her loving family.
