Sadie E. Woodard, 92, of 187 E. Dugway Road died Tuesday night at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on Dec. 18, 1913, daughter of Edward J. and Sara A. Ellery Munsinger, she attended local schools and was a 1932 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Mrs. Woodard was primarily a homemaker.
She was a member of the Church on the Hill in Lenox.
She married her husband, Myron Woodard, on June 20, 1936. He died June 25, 1997.
She leaves a son, Charles E. Woodard of Boynton Beach, Fla.; a daughter, Carol Casucci of Lenoxdale; a sister, Elsie Browne of Pittsfield; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Sadie Woodard, who died Jan. 31, 2006, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, 2006, at DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME, with the Rev. Natalie Shiras, pastor of the Church on the Hill, officiating.
Burial will be in the spring in Cheshire Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Make a Wish Foundation in care of the funeral home, 40 Maplewood Ave., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Lillian Woodard, and her son-in-law, Elio Casucci.
