Pauline T. Raser, 94, of 40 Sunset Ave. died Saturday, Jan. 14, at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in New Bedford on Feb. 9, 1911, daughter of Agnes Presnel, she was educated at Canton Hospital School and Fisher Business School in Boston.
Primarily a homemaker, she worked for a time at the Massachusetts Journal of Medicine before her marriage.
She enjoyed painting with oils and watercolors, pencil sketching and writing poetry.
She and her husband, Max Raser, were married 42 years before his death Aug. 1, 1993.
She leaves a daughter, Marsha Anthony of Hinsdale, and two grandsons.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A graveside service for Pauline T. Raser, who died Jan. 14, 2006, will be conducted Tuesday at 1 at Polonoe Cemetery in West Roxbury. There will be no calling hours.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Research Fund at Williams College in care of DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME, 40 Maplewood Ave., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
She also is survived by her grandsons, Michael and Mark Anthony of Hinsdale; two brothers-in-law, Marshall Raser of Pittsfield and Nathan Raser of Braintree, and three nephews.
