Alice Cecelia Carrigan, 82, of 584 East St. died Sunday at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on May 15, 1923, daughter of Francis and Mary Grace Pelissier Carrigan, she was a graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Miss Carrigan was employed by GE for more than 40 years, retiring as a winder.
She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church and a member of the GE Quarter Century and Pensioners' clubs.
She enjoyed playing cards, baking and traveling.
She leaves a sister, Patricia A. Carrigan of Pittsfield, with whom she resided.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Miss Alice C. Carrigan will be Friday at 8:15 a.m. from DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9 at St. Joseph's Church celebrated by the Rev. Michael Shershanovich, pastor.
Burial will follow in the family plot at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be tomorrow from 4 to 7. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph's Church in care of the funeral home.
Alice also is survived by a cousin, William Callaghan. She was predeceased by a brother, Daniel Carrigan, and a sister, Rosemary Carrigan.
